Military Expert – COGAT

Grisha Yakubovitz is a policy and strategic adviser for Israeli-Palestinian relations. He served as a Colonel in the IDF in the Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT) unit as well as in Operation Protective Edge and Pillar of Defense. As such, Grisha served as the military mayor of Gaza City and coordinated Israeli military and civilian authority as well as international organizations, diplomats and the Palestinian Authority. Grisha is an expert in the politics, economy, media, and history of Israel, Gaza, Judea and Samaria.
