I first got involved with the ZOA my freshman year when I co-directed the Future Leaders for Israel conference at FAU. Since then, I continued to work with them through my leadership roles in Owls for Israel. This winter I had that amazing opportunity to go to Israel with the ZOA on their leadership mission trip. I learned so much about being an advocate and gained new perspectives about Israel that I would not have been exposed to if I did not go on this trip. I also gained lifelong friends and unforgettable experiences.

Activism
I have been involved in Owls for Israel, the pro-Israel group at FAU, since my freshman year. I became Social Media Chair shortly after joining. The following two years I was the president. As president, I helped Owls for Israel grow as an organization from 3 active members to about 20 active members by the end of my sophomore year. As a senior, I continue to play an active role in the organization as Education Chair. I hope that through my leadership I have inspired others to take on challenges and continue to add to the success of Owls for Israel.
